In the world of fine luxury timepieces, you don’t get a more resounding endorsement than that of by James Bond. Longtime collaborator of the spy films, OMEGA, have done exactly that by creating a one of a kind Seamaster for the arrival of SPECTRE, the 24th 007 film slated for release in late 2015.
The limited edition Seamaster Aqua Terra 150M features unique design cues from the spy film such as the James Bond family coat of arms symbol interlocking to form the blue dial face design, as well as the tip of the yellow second counter. The 41.5 mm stainless steel timepiece also has the oscillating weight of the movement visible through the sapphire crystal caseback. The very cool part? This component has been cut and shaped to resemble a gun barrel, a design element that gives nod to the world of James Bond.
On the technical side the watch will be powered by OMEGA’s latest Master Co-Axial calibre 8507, a unit that is resistant to magnetic fields greater than 15,007 gauss (because we all tend to loiter around magnetic fields every now and then).
If you’re a major Bond fan and love your wrist pieces limited then this is the one for you. Only 15,007 pieces will be made available through OMEGA watches.
